Mango Mousse it is! There are so many recipes that you can make with mangoes. I really love having light desserts especially the ones that have cream in it. During the week I thought of using a few mangoes to make a mousse. It’s an easy and delicious dessert. The one that I made had a bit of tartness, but you can always adjust it according to your taste.
Preparation:
STEP 1- Take a small bowl add, 2 teaspoons of gelatin in 2 teaspoons of water. Mix it well. Next, in another bowl take 3 TBSP of warm water. Add the gelatin mixture to it and stir well. Keep it aside.
STEP 2- In a big bowl mix the cream and sugar, till soft peaks appear. Then add the milk, egg, salt, and sour cream. Whip everything together. Add the mango pulp and fold it well (do not whip it anymore).
You can substitute egg with 1 and 1/2 TBSP of cornflour.
STEP 3- Add the gelatin mixture and mix it well. Add 1 TBSP of lime juice if you like tartness.
STEP 4- Pour the mixture in a cup and cover it with foil paper. Refrigerate for 6 HRS.
